SOLD!

Yes, it's true!!! The Vann's have finally bought a house. We closed on our new home on Friday afternoon. It was a great feeling. We have been in desperate need for space since Eden was born and we are so excited to be blessed with this house. God has been so good through this whole process which has actually been fairly easy. We have seen God's fingerprints since the first look at the house. We will be moving in about a week and a half and we are so excited! We could definitely use your prayers as we make the transition.

We will have a house update soon with pictures once we get moved in so stay tuned!!

I can't leave you without an Eden update. She is 11 months now which is so crazy to me! She is almost 1!!!!! WOW. She is so amazing. My sweet little 11 month old is walking EVERYWHERE and getting into EVERYTHING!!. The other day I followed her in the kitchen where she immediately walked over to the cabinet under the sink, opened the door and took out the Windex! Oh me!! So, number one on the list to get done in the new house...baby proof EVERYTHING!!!

This was totally my husband this morning. I was making breakfast and I heard him gagging from Eden's room and yelling for help!! HAHA!!!

Crock pot dessert! YUM!

The other day I wasn't feeling too great but wanted something sweet and not have to go to the store and found this recipe in one of my cook books. It turned out really yummy and I had all the ingredients! Here is the recipe - you should try it.

Peanut Fudge Pudding Cake

Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar (divided)
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
2/3 cup milk
2 TBSP vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup boiling water

Directions:
1.) Coat crock pot with butter
2.) Combine flour, 1/2 cup sugar, and baking powder
3.) Add milk, oil, vanilla, and peanut butter and stir until combined
4.) Spread in bottom of crock pot
5.) In a separate bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar and cocoa powder
6.) Add hot water and stir until combined
7.) Pour chocolate mixture in crock pot - DO NOT STIR!
8.) Cook on HIGH for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until knife or toothpick comes out clean

TIP: This dessert creates it's own fudge. When you cut into it, it will come oozing out so make sure and top your dessert with the yummy fudge at the bottom! You can serve this with ice cream or chopped peanuts on top.

10 Months!

Yay, Eden is 10 months old!!! (I'm a little late on this post) I can't believe how fast time is flying by. She is such a busy little bee. She has developed so much in the past month.

At 10 months Eden is:
- Pulling up on everything
- Standing without support
- Taking about 3-4 steps without any help
- Getting into EVERYTHING!!
- Eating solid foods (no longer breastfeeding)
- Usually sleeping through the night

At 10 months Eden says:
- Dada (usually more when dada is around - she knows it is him)
- Go go go! She loves to say GO!
- Yo yo yo

At 10 months Eden's favorite things to do are:
- Help mommy with laundry! She loves to stand at the basket and hand me clothes.(I love it and think it is so cute)
- Empty out mommy's bottom drawer of her dresser
- Pull out all the books on the bottom shelf of the bookcase (esp. when mommy isn't looking)
- Play with her toy kitchen
- Be outside (especially at the pool)
- Go grocery shopping
- Watch puppies and kids
- Hug mommy
- Go on walks in her stroller
- Give her stuffed animal puppy hugs and take naps with him
- Shake her arms around whenever mommy or daddy says "shake it Eden!"
- Waft her hand like mommy does when mom or dad says "pewey stinky"

At 10 months Eden's favorite things to eat are:
- Grapes
- Raisins
- Goldfish
- Bananas
- Cheese
- Oatmeal
- Bread
- Paper (oh yes, paper - the child is like a goat)
- Any type of fruit

Eden is definitely keeping us on our toes these days, but we are loving every second. She is such a joy and life is amazing with her! Here are some pics we took the other day.
